Applications Open for DMC Executive Director Position

The David Mathews Center for Civic Life is seeking its next Executive Director to lead the organization into its 20th year, and beyond!

The Executive Director manages and sustains DMC operations, staff, and programming to meet the DMC’s mission of strengthening civic life in all 67 Alabama counties. Additionally, the Executive Director administers DMC signature programming and events; develops and implements the strategic vision of the DMC; manages all staff, interns and consultants; serves as the primary liaison with the Board of Directors; develops and maintains new and existing partners; oversees development efforts; and manages the creation of issue guides and other resources for Alabama classrooms and communities; and any other duties that may be assigned.

This is an exempt, full-time (40 hours/week) position based at the DMC Administrative Office on the American Village campus in Montevallo, Alabama, that supervises DMC staff, consultants, and interns and reports to the DMC Board of Directors.
