Education Coordinator

Lauren Lockhart serves as the DMC’s Education Coordinator and previously held the position of the 2022-2023 Civic Fellow at DMC, showcasing her commitment to civic engagement. Raised in Bethlehem, Georgia, Lauren pursued her academic endeavors at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration, complemented by a minor in Peace, Justice, and Ecology. During her time at UAB, she enrolled in courses within the Master of Public Administration department, effectively blending her research-oriented background with a fervent dedication to the nonprofit sector.
